Facts About Germany Weather in Germany 2010

The climate in Germany is temperate with dominating humid westerly winds. The temperate climate is further moderated by the the North Atlantic Drift. In the northern and northwest regions of Germany, the climate is oceanic with rainfalls all throughout the year and more frequent in summer. Average temperatures are in the range of 30 degrees and winters are mild.




In the eastern regions, the climate is more of continental with severe cold season, hot summers and long period of dry weather. Central and southern parts of Germany vary from moderately oceanic to continental. Although the climate varies depending upon the region and it varies vastly due to its vast geographical regions but in general, the weather in Germany tends to be pleasant and mild throughout the year. Exceptions to the mild and pleasant weather are the mountainous regions where the weather could be very severe in winter with snowfalls and sub-zero temperatures. There are hundreds of websites that display day to day online reports on the weather in Germany and the forecast for the ensuing week.
